Christopher Green

Senior Electrical Engineer / Research Technologist at Lucideon

Christopher Green is a Senior Electrical Engineer and Research Technologist at Lucideon, where work focuses on the "Low Energy Firing" project since September 2013. Previously, Christopher served as a Research & Development Engineer at the University of Leicester from January 2011 to December 2012, conducting a knowledge transfer partnership between Alstom Grid Ltd and the university on HVDC cable monitoring. Additionally, Christopher held a Postdoctoral position at the University of Southampton from August 2008 to December 2010, contributing to the development of sustainable materials for high voltage cables in an EPSRC-funded project. Christopher earned a PhD in Polymer Nanocomposites for High Voltage Insulation and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southampton, complemented by education at Worcester VI Form College and Royal Grammar School Worcester.
