David Hawkins

David Hawkins has over 17 years of work experience, primarily in sales engineering roles. David currently works at Lucidworks as the Director of Sales Engineering, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Oracle for eight years, starting as a Senior Sales Consultant in February 2012 and eventually becoming a Principal Sales Consultant in March 2018. In this role, they provided comprehensive pre-sales support for the Oracle Retail Global Business Unit, specializing in eCommerce. Before Oracle, David worked at Endeca for ten years, initially as a Senior Sales Engineer and later as the European Sales Engineering Technical Lead. While at Endeca, they played a key role in increasing yearly license and services bookings in EMEA from $200K to $8.5M. Throughout their career, David has gained extensive experience in various industries, including B2C/B2B, media and publishing, telco, manufacturing, travel and finance, and security and defense. David has consistently demonstrated their ability to provide technical expertise and deliver compelling product demonstrations to clients during the sales process.

David Hawkins attended the University of Kent from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
