Dawn Kobata Mitchell

Dawn Kobata Mitchell currently serves as the Sr. Associate Director of Principal Gifts at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, where responsibilities include partnering with faculty and leadership to secure philanthropic support for pediatric research and patient care programs, cultivating donor relationships, and developing impactful gift opportunities. Prior to this role, Dawn held multiple development positions at the University of California, San Francisco, where contributions included directing fundraising efforts for cancer and women's health, and advancing philanthropic goals for the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. Earlier experience spans several development roles at Stanford University, the University of San Francisco, and UC Berkeley. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Stanford University.
