Lina Maria Mejia Lopez

Lina Maria Mejia Lopez has worked in various roles throughout their career. In 2018, they joined Lucky Cart as a Data Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at DataGenius as an Intern, where they developed a project to extract names of data-analysis techniques from conference articles in order to identify trends. This project involved coding in Python using libraries such as tensorFlow, keras, sklearn, networkx, gensim, spacy, and scrapy. In 2017, Lina worked as an Intern at ReportLinker, where they explored and developed a module for their NLU system using the Stanford NLP library and the VerbNet database. This module aimed to identify different parts of a sentence and their roles.

Lina Maria Mejia Lopez completed their Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Data Science and Computer Science from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended Universidad de Los Andes, where they studied Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering starting in 2013.
