Denis Cmunt

Denis Cmunt is currently a PhD Researcher Assistant at Ludwig Cancer Research, associated with the University of Lausanne since July 2020. Prior to this role, Denis served as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Master Student Research Assistant at Charles University from October 2017 to June 2020, focusing on protein preparation, purification, biophysical characterization, and studying the biological activity of proteins for potential cellular immunotherapy applications. A brief research stint occurred at the Weizmann Institute of Science in September 2018. Denis's early research experience includes positions as a Bachelor Student Research Assistant and High School Student Intern at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic from September 2011 to December 2016. Denis holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Lausanne (2020-2024), a Master's degree in Biochemistry from Charles University (2016-2019), and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the same institution (2013-2016), following education at Gymnázium Pierra de Coubertina in Tábor (2007-2013).
