Wilson Castro

Wilson Castro is a highly-skilled scientist with extensive experience in cancer research and infectious diseases. Currently serving as a Scientist at Ludwig Cancer Research since January 2018, Wilson co-leads teams to facilitate data interpretation and project direction while collaborating with external stakeholders on novel cancer therapies. Prior to this role, Wilson earned a Ph.D. in Cancer and Immunology from the University of Lausanne and managed significant research projects during a doctoral program from November 2012 to April 2017. At Harvard Medical School, Wilson held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Research Assistant from 2006 to 2012, ensuring compliance with health regulations and managing laboratory functions. Educational foundation includes a Master’s Degree in Immunology from Universidad de Granada and a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from Universidad de Antioquia.
