Philipp Barzen

Philip Barzen, MBA, has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Philipp is currently the Managing Director at Lufthansa Systems FlightNav since March 2019. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Lufthansa Systems, including Head of Product Strategy since March 2017, Program Manager Lido/Flight 4D from November 2014 to April 2017, Senior Project Manager from November 2012 to October 2014, Regional Project Manager, EMEA from September 2011 to December 2012, and Project Manager from February 2009 to August 2011.

Philipp Barzen, MBA received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from Durham University Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom in Betriebswirtschaftslehre / Wirtschaftsinformatik from Pforzheim University in 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained certifications such as the Product Management Executive Programme from INSEAD Executive Education in 2021 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2012.
