Alexey Yankin has extensive experience in the lubricants industry, currently serving as the Head of R&D Department for Engine and Transmission Oils Development at LUKOIL Lubricants Company since June 2022. Prior to this role, Alexey held various technical positions at Infineum, starting as a CC Technologist and advancing to Senior Lubes Deployment Technologist, with a tenure at the company beginning in 2012. Alexey's career also includes a position as Technical Manager at MOL Group from 2008 to 2011, Technical Specialist at Shell from 2001 to 2008, and Technical Manager at LIQUI MOLY GmbH from 1999 to 2001.

LUKOIL is the leader of the Russian oil industry in exploration, production, refining and marketing of petroleum products. In 2005 LLK-International (LUKOIL Lubricants), a company 100% owned by LUKOIL, was formed, and lubricants became an independent business unit.
