Magdalena Pfaffl

Magdalena Pfaffl, PhD, serves as an Associate Senior Lecturer in information systems at Luleå University of Technology, while also engaging in research on innovation in rural areas and teaching strategic service design. As the founder and CEO of Ares Habitats, Magdalena leads the development of a small village database. Experience includes a lecturer role in sustainable project management at Halmstad University and project leadership for the Yangi project under the EU Horizon 2020 initiative. Previous positions include Blockchef and project leader for the Varbergstunneln at Implenia Sverige AB and roles at James Cook University as a PhD candidate focused on remote settlements.
