Om Prakash

Om Prakash is an experienced engineering leader currently serving at Luma AI since June 2025. Previously, Om Prakash held the position of engineering leader at Reddit Ads from January 2023 to January 2025, where responsibilities included the establishment of the Advertiser Optimization organization focused on auto-bidding, budget optimization, planning, forecasting, and recommendations. Prior to that, at YouTube from January 2021 to January 2023, Om Prakash was integral in developing shopping functionality and increasing revenue sources for YouTube creators, leading a team of over 30 engineers. Om Prakash began a career at Google in January 2003, spanning 18 years as a software engineer and senior engineering leader, contributing to several major projects like AdWords and Gmail campaigns. Om Prakash’s early experience includes an internship at Juniper in 2002. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
