Rafael Rübenich

Rafael Rübenich has extensive work experience in software engineering, specializing in front-end development and technical leadership roles.

Starting in 2009, Rafael worked as a Web Developer Intern at Agência Faz, where they created institutional websites and web applications using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

In 2014, Rafael joined Parque Tecnológico Itaipu as a Software Researcher Intern, focusing on Augmented Reality technology and conducting research on dam safety and tourism mobile applications.

Rafael then interned as a Software Engineer at Itaipu Binacional in 2015, gaining practical experience in software development.

From 2016 to 2020, Rafael worked at Wealth Systems, where they initially served as a Software Engineer. Rafael created and refactored features using JavaScript in single-page applications, Java in API-based microservices, and React Native for offline-first mobile solutions. Rafael also developed front-end tools for building KPIs, integrating with Apache Spark data processed RESTful APIs and Cassandra database.

In 2018, Rafael was promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Wealth Systems and took on more responsibilities. Rafael coordinated developers, executed migrations, and transformed a JavaScript project into a framework, enabling the addition and removal of business modules. Rafael also guided teams in creating new products and making technical decisions for JavaScript web and mobile applications with Java-based microservices.

In 2020, Rafael briefly worked at Olist as a Senior Software Engineer, where they proposed and implemented a Micro-frontends architecture to improve the Olist Web platform.

From 2020 to 2022, Rafael worked at iFood as a Senior Software Engineer. Rafael contributed significantly to the development of a high-scalable CRM solution for restaurant partners and a front-end flow for sending direct discount vouchers to iFood customers. Rafael also mentored other developers and proposed technical evolution studies.

Currently, Rafael is a Senior Software Engineer at Luma Health, starting in 2022.

Rafael Rübenich attended Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Ciência da Computação (Computer Science). In 2013, they obtained a certification in Etapa de Qualificação do Edital de Incubação 054/2013 from SEBRAE.
