Jill Kolesar Ph.D., Cmpp

Jill Kolesar, PhD, CMPP has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jill is currently serving as the Scientific Director at Lumanity, starting in March 2022. Before joining Lumanity, they worked as the Scientific Director at Cello Health from March 2021 to March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Scientific Director at Cello Health and MedErgy from April 2019 to March 2021. Jill also gained experience at Complete Healthcare Communications, where they worked as an Associate Scientific Director from May 2017 to March 2019, a Senior Medical Writer from June 2016 to May 2017, and a Medical Writer from March 2014 to June 2016.

Before their roles in medical communications, Jill worked as a Contract Editor at AJE - American Journal Experts from August 2013 to March 2014. Jill also served as the Editor-In-Chief at the University of Pennsylvania Postdoctoral Editors Association from March 2013 to March 2014.

Jill's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania from November 2008 to March 2014, where they also completed their PhD. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Montreal Neurological Institute from February 2005 to October 2008. Jill started their career as a Graduate Student in Genetics and Development at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where they worked from August 1998 to January 2005.

Jill Kolesar, PhD, CMPP completed their education in a chronological order. Jill obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, General from The University of Kansas from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Molecular Biology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, which they completed between 1998 and 2005. Additionally, Jill Kolesar holds a certification as a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) from the ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) since November 2021.
