Vikas M. has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, holding various leadership roles. Vikas is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Lumax Auto Technologies Ltd., a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President at Lumax World from May 2018 to April 2020. Before joining Lumax, Vikas worked as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at Varroc from November 2017 to May 2018. Vikas also held the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd from March 2012 to November 2017. Earlier in their career, they served as the Vice President and Business Unit Head at ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited from June 2011 to March 2012. Prior to that, Vikas held various senior positions at Hertz, Sixt rent a car, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, and MODI CEMENT.

Vikas M. completed their education with a 10+2 degree in Science from Manav Sthali School in India, from 1970 to 1985. Vikas then pursued a B.Com-Hons degree in Commerce from Delhi University, from 1985 to 1988. Finally, they obtained a PGDBM degree in Marketing Major from the Centre for Management Development (CMD) in Modinagar, from 1988 to 1990.
