Trevor MacDougall

Trevor is a co-founder of Lumeda and leads the technical, engineering and operations teams. He has over 30 years of experience in the design and commercialization of fiber optic components and sensing systems. He was a co-founder at QOREX which he helped build until it was sold to a strategic acquirer in 2012. Trevor held senior technical positions with Weatherford, CiDRA Corporation and 3M. He has a BS/MEE degree and is the author of 55 patents and 20 publications in the field of fiber optics. Trevor is a co-author of Fiber Optic Sensors: Fundamentals and Applications 4th Edition (SPIE 2015) and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
