Uland Lau

Senior Scientist at Lumen Bioscience

Uland Lau has a diverse work experience in the field of bioscience and research. They started their career in 2009 as an Undergraduate Researcher and participated in the Clinical Research Experience for Engineers Program at the University of Washington. In 2011, they joined the University of California, Los Angeles as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked until 2016. During this time, they also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 2014 to 2015. In 2014, they had a research internship at Seattle Genetics. Uland then joined Seattle Genetics as a Postdoctoral Scientist in 2016 and continued working there until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Uland worked at Neoleukin Therapeutics as a Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Scientist II at Lumen Bioscience since February 2023.

Uland Lau completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Washington from 2006 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering at UCLA, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. In 2022, Uland Lau participated in a Practicum program at Practicum USA, earning a Certificate in Data Science, which they completed in 2023.
