Shlomi Cohen

Mr. Shlomi Cohen has been appointed to Chief Financial Officer of Lumenis in 2015, after serving as Lumenis’ CFO and COO for the EMEA region since 2014. Before joining Lumenis and from 2011 to 2014, Mr. Cohen served as Chief Financial Officer at Emblaze (LSE: BLZ), a global group of companies providing software consulting services, developing proprietary software products and providing computer-based business solutions. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, he served as Director of Corporate Finance at Emblaze and Formula Systems (NASDAQ: FORTY), a business of $600m turnover, consists of established companies: Matrix (TASE), Magic Software (NASDAQ: MGIC) and Sapiens (NASDAQ: SPNS), and as a Senior Advisor at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Mr. Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics from Tel-Aviv University, and he is a GMP graduate of the Harvard Business School (HBS Alumni) and is a certified public accountant in Israel.
