Alan Hnatiw

Alan Hnatiw is an experienced engineering executive currently serving as Vice President & General Manager of Dimensional Metrology at Lumentum since December 2021. Prior to this role, Alan Hnatiw was Director of Solution & Opportunity Development at Lumentum and held various key positions at Honeywell, including Chief Engineer for Satellite Communications and Connectivity Enablers from August 2019 to November 2021. Alan Hnatiw has also served as Director of Engineering for SATCOM Antennas at IDS North America and as Director of Aviation Products at Esterline CMC Electronics. Earlier experience includes roles at Novabrain Technologies Inc., Metconnex Inc., JDSU, and TRLabs. Alan Hnatiw holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Photonics, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, all from the University of Alberta.
