Jian Wang

Jian Wang is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the photonics and optical engineering fields. Currently serving as a Principal Design Engineer at Lumentum, Jian has held similar roles at NeoPhotonics, where responsibilities included positions such as Staff Design Engineer and Senior Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a Senior Photonics Engineer role at Irixi Technologies/Enablence Technologies and research positions at Purdue University and Zhejiang University. Jian Wang earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Optical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
