Michael W. Gardner, MBA has had an extensive work history in the healthcare industry. Michael W. is currently serving as the SVP of Payer Relationships at Lumeris since June 2023. Prior to this, they founded Gardner Consulting in 2020. In 2022, they worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at Virsys12 until June 2023. From 2019 to 2022, they were the Vice President of PHSO Payer and Provider Contracting at Lumeris. Before that, from 2017 to 2019, they served as the Vice President of Market Development at Ascension. Michael W. also held various roles at MissionPoint Health Partners from 2011 to 2019, including Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Finance and Operations. Michael W. then pursued further education and completed a Certificate in Executive Program from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management in 1997. In 2010, they obtained their Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business Negotiation & Mediation from Belmont University's Jack C. Massey College of Business. Currently, Michael is studying at Vanderbilt Peabody College, where they are working towards a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Leadership and Learning in Organizations, which will be completed in 2024. Prior to their higher education, Michael attended Todd County Central High School from 1984 to 1988.
