Muhammad Ahmed

Muhammad Ahmed has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and technology industry. Muhammad is currently working as a Lead Principal Technology Solutions Partner at Lumeris since November 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at 1upHealth, Inc., including Director of Professional Services from July 2021 to October 2023, and Solutions Architect from January 2021 to July 2021. From 2014 to 2021, Muhammad worked at Siemens Healthineers, starting as a Product Engineer I and progressing to Staff Software Engineer. Muhammad also held the position of Sr Product Engineer, where they played a key role in delivering bug-free and customer-centric software, visiting numerous countries and customers. Before that, they worked as a Product Engineer II, involved in system hardware and software development. Muhammad's early experience includes working as a Development Engineer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where they led a team in developing a macroscopic in vitro 3D cancer drug screening system/medical device.

Muhammad Ahmed holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University. Muhammad also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The City University of New York. In addition to their degrees, Muhammad has obtained certifications in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) from Astra Nova Training in 2014 and a Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute in 2014.
