Mohammed Ali

Research Mentor at Lumiere Education

Mohammed Ali is a seasoned academic with a focus on history and pedagogy. Currently serving as a Research Mentor at Lumiere Education, Mohammed previously held two positions as a Course Instructor at Duke University, where responsibilities included designing research seminars and exploring multidisciplinary themes in history with undergraduate students. Mohammed's experience also includes an internship at the American Historical Association, where skills in editing and research were honed, alongside the creation of a significant database addressing racial bias in memorials. Mohammed holds a PhD in History from Duke University, a Master of Arts from UC Irvine, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Gender and Sexuality Studies from the University of Chicago.
