Jerry Del Valle has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and technology. Jerry started their career in 2011 as a PC Technician at Vail Resorts. In 2012, they joined Summit County Government as a PC Support Specialist. Later that year, they also took on the role of Network Security Administrator at Summit County 911 Center. From 2012 to 2017, Jerry worked as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Mountain College. In 2018, they became the Principal Cyber Security at Summit 911 Center. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Lumin Digital as a Cyber Security Engineer.

Jerry Del Valle completed their education in the field of Information Technology and Networking. Jerry obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology—Security from Western Governors University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Colorado Mountain College from 2002 to 2010 and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Networking.

In addition to their formal education, Jerry has also obtained several certifications. These include Microsoft MCTS Windows 7, Project +, Network +, Security +, and A+ certifications from CompTIA, all obtained between 2009 and 2010. Jerry has also achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications: AWS Certified Security – Specialty obtained in 2023 and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner achieved in 2022. Lastly, they hold a VMware Certified Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV) certification from VMware, although the month and year of attainment are not specified.
