Phil Roth

Phil left a career as a middle school English teacher to start in renewables 4 years ago working for a solar installation company in West (by God) Virginia, where he still lives today. He has experience in every stage of the solar installation process from initial consultation to final energization. A learner by trade, Phil is always working to improve his knowledge base and become a better resource for both his clients and his colleagues.

During his free time Phil can often be found exploring the hills and mountains of Appalachia with his dog. Between backpacking, mushroom hunting, fishing or just taking in a pretty sunset most of Phil's free hours are spent in the great outdoors. He's also an avid baseball fan and has been to just about every major league stadium east of the Mississippi.
