Vicki Matthews

Vicki Matthews is a Professional Clinical Counseling Associate at Stand Strong, previously the Women's Shelter Program of SLO County, since April 2017. Prior to this role, Vicki served as a Drug and Alcohol Specialist III at the San Luis Obispo County Behavioral Health Agency in 2016 and as a Professional Clinical Counselor Intern at Central Coast EAP Counseling Services, where individual therapy sessions were conducted and a pro-bono counseling program was developed. Additionally, Vicki volunteered as a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Counselor at RISE San Luis Obispo County. Vicki holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management from Bethel University, and has completed core coursework in Criminal Justice at Draughons Jr. College.
