Jamie Merisotis

Jamie Merisotis is the current President and CEO of Lumina Foundation since 2008. Previously, Jamie co-founded and served as CEO of Institute for Higher Education Policy from 1993 to 2007, focusing on improving college access and success for all students. Additionally, Jamie was the Executive Director of the National Commission on Responsibilities for Financing Postsecondary Education from 1991 to 1993, where Jamie led a bipartisan commission influencing national higher education policy. Merisotis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Bates College.
