Ahmed Fouda

Ahmed Fouda, PMP, is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in firmware and software development, currently serving as the Director of Engineering - Firmware at Luminar Technologies since June 2021, where responsibilities include leading a firmware team focused on advanced LiDAR firmware for autonomous driving. Prior to this, Ahmed held various leadership roles at Valeo from May 2014 to May 2021, including R&D Director and Senior Software Engineering Manager for ADAS, managing large teams and overseeing software solutions for major OEMs. Ahmed's career also includes positions at HP, Valeo Schalter und Sensoren, and Intel Corporation, developing embedded software and firmware for complex systems. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and a Pre-Masters in Software and Networking, both from Cairo University.
