Arpan Chakraborty

Arpan Chakraborty has worked for a variety of organizations since 2006. Arpan began their career at Greenfield Solutions, where they were a Systems Trainee and performed requirements analysis, system design, and worked on development teams for a web-based Software Estimation and Project Management Tool. In 2008, they joined the Department of Computer Science at North Carolina State University as a Graduate Research Assistant and Information Systems Graduate Assistant. In 2009, they became a Designer and .NET Developer at imleagues, and in 2010, they were a Developer, Web Services for Mobile Apps at TouchCentric LLC. From 2014-2018, they were an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Instructor at Udacity, and most recently, they have been a Lead, Learned Driving at Ridecell since 2018.

Arpan Chakraborty began their education in 1992 at St. Xavier's School in Haldia. Arpan then attended Vishwa Bharati Public School in Noida from 1995 to 2004. In 2004, Arpan Chakraborty went on to pursue a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, which they completed in 2008. Arpan then continued their studies at North Carolina State University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science in 2010, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science in 2014.
