Justin Whitney has extensive experience in the financial and mortgage industries. Justin has held various audit, compliance, and management roles throughout their career. Justin's previous positions include Internal Audit Director/Compliance Manager at Luminate Bank, Internal Audit Manager at LeaderOne Financial, Compliance Monitoring Manager at LeaderOne Financial, Morning Merchandising at Costco Wholesale, AM Sort Team Lead at FedEx Express, Internal Auditor at Academy Mortgage Corporation, Compliance Specialist at Primary Residential Mortgage, Sales Associate at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Quality Control/Fraud Investigator at Primary Residential Mortgage, and Assistant Branch Manager at First Community Bank. Justin was also a Loan Originator at City 1st Mortgage Services. Throughout their work experience, Justin has gained valuable skills such as facilitating internal/external audit functions, establishing checks and balances for company growth, researching state regulations, preparing loan files for audit review, leading a team, compliance checking, and performing fraud investigations.

Justin Whitney attended Salt Lake Community College for Physical Sciences, but their start year and end year are unknown. Justin also attended and graduated from Cottonwood High School. Justin has obtained various certifications, including a Financial Services Audit Certificate from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in July 2021, Coaching and Teambuilding Skills for Managers and Supervisors from SkillPath in January 2019, and Change Management Specialist (CMS) from Management and Strategy Institute in March 2016, among others. Justin is currently pursuing a Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor (CCBIA) certification from ICBA, which they are set to obtain in June 2023.
