Jose Acosta

Jose Acosta has a diverse work experience history. Jose started their career as a Deli Associate at H-E-B, where they were responsible for various tasks including preparing and merchandising deli products. Jose then worked as a Construction subcontract installer at Legit Installs, where they installed doors and managed work invoices. Later, Jose became a Krav Maga Instructor at Austin Warrior Fitness, teaching self-defense and fitness techniques. Jose joined Luminex Corporation as a Day Porter, responsible for cleaning and maintaining break areas. Over time, they progressed to a Facilities Associate role before becoming a Building Supervisor, where they coordinated maintenance work and managed inventory. Jose'smost recent role was as a Facilities Lead, where they handled security infrastructure configurations and team leadership.

Jose Acosta is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Cyber Security from The University of Texas at San Antonio, with an anticipated completion in May 2026. Prior to this, they attended Austin Community College, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology with a specialization in Local Area Network Systems: Cyber Security. Jose also obtained a Certificate Level I in Computer Information Technology with a focus on Local Area Network Systems: Network Administration from the same institution. In addition, Jose holds two Occupational Skills Awards from Austin Community College in Computer Networking and Computer Programming, which were obtained in August 2021.
