John Cahill

John Cahill has worked in the lighting industry since 2011. John began as a Lighting Designer at Lightswitch, where they then moved up to Senior Lighting Designer and eventually Director of Design. In 2019, they joined Morlights (formerly known as Lightswitch Chicago) as a Senior Designer and BIM Manager, designing for Restaurants, Hospitality, High-End Residential, Museums, Retail, Offices, Schools and Theme Parks, in addition to managing AutoCAD, Revit and AGI standards and overseeing production. In 2020, they joined Luminii, where they have held three roles: Senior Sales and Channel Enablement Manager, Product and Channel Marketing Manager, and Technical Sales Manager.

John Cahill attended the University of Cincinnati from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatre Design & Production, Lighting & Scenic.
