Ciara Goldsmith

Ciara Goldsmith is a Molecular Microbiologist at LuminUltra Technologies Ltd. since December 2024, previously serving as a Lab Technologist at OSP from July 2023 to December 2024. Prior to this, Ciara was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Calgary, where research focused on gene expression and syntrophic interactions in methanogenic hydrocarbon biodegradation from January 2019 to June 2023. Ciara also held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Student Researcher, studying microbiologically influenced corrosion in offshore drilling operations. Ciara obtained a Master of Science in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Calgary in June 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the same institution in June 2020.
