Etay Shefi

Etay Shefi is a highly experienced engineer specializing in algorithms and signal processing, currently serving as a Senior Algorithms and Signal Processing Engineer at Lumissil Microsystems, a division of Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. (ISSI) since September 2017. In this role, Etay focuses on the development of HomePlug GreenPHY Physical Layer algorithms for electric vehicle charging and charging stations, particularly in the context of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) applications. Previously, Etay worked as a Communications Algorithms Engineer at Sigma Designs, where contributions included research and development of Physical Layer and advanced OFDM-MIMO signal processing algorithms for broadband and high-speed communications. Earlier experience includes a position as a System PHY Engineer at CopperGate Communications, responsible for the integration and verification of PHY algorithms for various networking standards. Etay holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Signal Processing, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Tel Aviv University.
