Kaity Peters

Kaity Peters has worked in various engineering roles since 2010. In 2010, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Toledo's Engineering Center for Orthopedic Research Excellence. From 2011-2014, they completed four co-ops at Valtronic Technologies (USA) Inc, where they created Bill of Materials and other documentation for a product's documentation packet, and prepared Engineering Change Notice/Request documents and Engineering deviation documents. From 2014-2018, they worked as a Development Engineer at Invacare Corporation, where they completed design changes for legacy products and managed projects simultaneously. From 2018-2020, they were a New Product Development Engineer at Performance Health, where they designed, developed, and implemented new products and changes to existing products in accordance with Stage Gate System and FDA/ISO Design Control Requirements for the Cramer, TheraPearl, and TheraBand Brands. Currently, Kaity Peters is a Design Engineer at Lumitex, where they design, develops, and implements new products and changes to existing products, provides technical guidance and project support across product lines, and develops timelines that include all tasks required for a project.

Kaity Peters attended The University of Toledo from 2008 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Bioengineering. Her field of study was Biomedical Engineering, and they also had minors in Biology and Chemistry.
