Steve Melhuish

Steve Melhuish is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in climate technology and impact investing. As the Founding Partner and General Partner of Wavemaker Impact, Steve focuses on building climate tech ventures in Asia aimed at significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Steve is also the Founder and CEO of Planet Rise, which addresses climate change and social inequality through technology. As a co-founder and Board Director of PropertyGuru Group, Steve led the company to become a proptech unicorn. Additionally, Steve serves in advisory roles for several organizations including Ampd Energy, The Earthshot Prize, Eco-Business, and Impact Investment Exchange, while also investing in various sustainability-focused startups through Wavemaker Partners. Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering from the University of Plymouth and a Diploma in Marketing from the University of Reading.
