Jim Lockheed

Jim Lockheed is an experienced investor and entrepreneur with a strong background in travel, aviation, and sustainability. Currently serving as Founder/Partner at Something New since April 2024, Jim Lockheed has also been a Startup Mentor at Alchemist Accelerator since 2020. Prior to these roles, Jim Lockheed was Principal at JetBlue Ventures from 2019 to April 2024, where significant investments were made in companies such as ClearJet, Pulsora, and Universal Hydrogen, among others. Additionally, Jim Lockheed held investor roles at ClearJet, Pulsora, Assaia, Avnos, Beacon AI, and Air Company from 2021 onward. Jim Lockheed's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Oregon, a B.S. in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an A.S. in Avionic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
