Rohan is a Principal at Lumos Capital Group.

Rohan has spent his entire career in the education sector. He is motivated by the power of education to enact change and level the playing field. Rohan brings education-specific experience as a former entrepreneur, consultant, and investor.

As an entrepreneur, Rohan founded and subsequently sold a higher education exam preparation company in Canada. He later joined the consulting firm Oliver Wyman, helping launch their Education Practice. During his time at Oliver Wyman, Rohan led over 15 projects advising education companies on growth strategy, and working closely with investors in evaluating investments, including some of the largest transactions in the sector. Prior to joining Lumos, Rohan was a Principal at Round13 Capital, a venture capital firm, where he grew as an investor, focused on growth stage technology investing.

Rohan is also heavily involved in non-profit work in the sector. He has split time between the UK and India working directly with TED-Prize winner Sugata Mitra on scaling his School in the Cloud platform in impoverished areas. Locally, Rohan sits on the advisory board of KIPP NYC, one of the largest charter school networks in the US, and leads the board’s efforts around education advocacy and external engagement.

Rohan holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Canada, where he graduated as valedictorian.
