Pisit (Duke) Pitukcheewanont MD, FAAP, BCMAS has had a long and impressive career in medicine. Pisit (Duke) began their career in 1991 as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Srinakharinwirot University, Faculty of Medicine. In 1998, they became an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, and was later promoted to Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and then Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. At the same time, they also became the Clinical Director of the Pediatric Bone Program Center for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Co-Director of the Pediatric Endocrine Fellowship Program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). In 2007, they took on a role as President and Board of Directors at HUMAN GROWTH FOUNDATION. In 2018, they joined Ascendis Pharma as Vice President, Global Medical Ambassador and Medical Education, where they were responsible for elevating the Ascendis Pharma brand and educating the global academic endocrinology community on the company's unique TransCon technology and endocrinology product pipeline. Pisit (Duke) then moved on to their current role as Vice President, Global Clinical Development and Medical Affairs at Lumos Pharma in 2022.

Pisit (Duke) Pitukcheewanont MD, FAAP, BCMAS obtained their Doctor of Medicine - MD from Chiang Mai University in 1987-1991. Pisit (Duke) then completed residencies in Pediatric Medicine at Chiang Mai University from 1987-1991. Following this, they completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 1992-1993 and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Science (Pediatrics) at Mahidol University from 1988-1989. In 1991, they obtained their Diplomate of Thai Board of Pediatrics. Pisit (Duke) then obtained their Federal Licensing Examinations from the FSMB in 1993 and their United State Medical Licensing Examination from USMLE in 1993. Pisit (Duke) obtained Medical Licensure from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency in 1997, the North Carolina Medical Board in 1997, and the Medical Board Of California in 1998. In 2005, they obtained their Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). In 2016, they obtained their Diplomate in Pediatric Endocrinology from Pediatric Endocrinology. In 2021, they obtained their Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist from the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA).
