Luna (formerly the Calgary & Area Child Advocacy Centre) is a non-profit organization that is advancing the way systems and communities understand and address child abuse. Luna’s multidisciplinary team of experts from health, children’s services, law enforcement, justice, education, and victim services, work together to provide children and youth who have been impacted by abuse with the support and resources they need throughout the disclosure, investigation, judicial processes and along their healing journeys.

Since 2013, Luna has supported more than 10,000 children and youth who have been impacted by severe and complex abuse. Luna works to empower those impacted by child abuse to lead healthy and productive lives by creating a community that responds collectively to child abuse.
