Nikolai Braun

Nikolai Braun has a diverse skill set with work experience in different fields. Nikolai started working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Manchester in 2007, where they researched on yeast Golgi CLC channels related to human kidney disease. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a staff scientist at Colorado State University, focused on DTRA-funded synthetic biology projects. Nikolai also worked at Revolution Bioengineering, where they played the role of co-founder and COO from 2013 to 2015, and later joined Luna Labs in 2015 as a research scientist. At Luna Labs, they led a team of scientists, managed key technical projects, and ensured on-time delivery of deliverables.

Nikolai Braun earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Virginia Tech in the period of 1997 to 2001. Nikolai then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biophysics from the University of California, Davis and completed it from 2001 to 2007. It is not known when they attended The University of Manchester, nor is the degree and field of study they took is known.
