Jj Williams

JJ Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2007, they joined QinetiQ as a Business Analyst in the Ventures team before moving to OptaSense in 2008. At OptaSense, JJ held multiple positions including Senior Analyst, Business Development Manager, and Regional Director - Americas. They worked at OptaSense until 2017. In 2019, JJ briefly served as the Chairman of the Board and Public Policy Committee Chair at the Fiber Optic Sensing Association (FOSA). Currently, JJ is the Global Commercial Director at LUNA Innovations, a role they started in October 2022.

JJ Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Bayes Business School from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2002, JJ attended Charterhouse but did not obtain a degree. In 2019, JJ completed a Certificate in Management Excellence with a focus on Strategic Negotiation from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
