Allison Perrigo

Allison Perrigo is an experienced professional in the field of biological sciences and scientific editing. Currently serving as the Director (Horti Praefecta) at the Botanical Garden of Lund University since February 2023, Allison has previously held roles such as Project Manager and Coordinator at the University of Gothenburg from 2017 to January 2023, and Postdoctoral Researcher at Uppsala University in 2014. As the Founder and Scientific Editor of Forest Cat Editing, established in 2015, Allison specializes in scientific editing and communication, although the organization is not currently accepting new assignments. Allison holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Systematic Biology/Biological Systematics from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Ecology from The University of British Columbia.
