Mats-Åke Persson

Mats-Åke Persson is an experienced data programming and database administration professional with a robust background in managing clinical and phenotype data. Currently serving as a SAS Programmer, IS Specialist, and SQL Server DBA at Lund University since February 2012, Mats-Åke is responsible for developing SAS programs, administering SQL Server databases, and managing server installations. Previously, Mats-Åke held the position of Senior Clinical Data Programmer at Lundbeck, where responsibilities included SAS programming and data conversion, and served as an Oracle DBA and Service Manager at AstraZeneca, where expertise in database migration and clinical data management was demonstrated. Mats-Åke holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Lund University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
