Gregor MacDonald

Gregor Macdonald is an accomplished pharmaceutical professional with extensive experience in business development and medicinal chemistry. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of BD & Licensing, Search and Evaluation at Lundbeck since August 2021, Macdonald previously held significant roles at Johnson & Johnson from June 2004 to August 2021, including Senior Director of Neuroscience Business Development and Head of Neuroscience Medicinal Chemistry. In these positions, Macdonald was responsible for strategy and scientific delivery in the Neuroscience Discovery organization. Earlier career experiences include positions as Neurology Team Leader and Team Leader of Medicinal Chemistry at GlaxoSmithKline, as well as a Research Chemist at The Wellcome Foundation Limited. Macdonald holds a Ph.D. in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of York and a B.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
