Rasmus Thomsen currently serves as the Sustainability & Strategy Lead at Lundbeckfonden since June 2023 and is a Board Member at DISIE since March 2022. Prior to these roles, Rasmus was Chief Advisor, Strategy & Business Development at Vækstfonden from August 2018 to June 2023, where additional responsibilities included Team Lead and Senior Advisor within the Executive Management Secretariat. From January 2016 to August 2018, Rasmus worked as Financial Counsellor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, following a role as Head of Section at the Ministry of Finance of Denmark from July 2015 to July 2018. Previous positions also include Head of Section at Økonomi- og Indenrigsministeriet and various roles in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Finance, along with experience as a freelancer for RÆSON. Rasmus holds a Master’s Degree in Global Politics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and both a Cand.scient.pol and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
