Scott Strachan

Scott Strachan is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in the beef industry. Currently serving as a Steering Group Member for the Australian Beef Sustainability Framework and holding multiple leadership roles at Harvest Road Group since August 2019, Scott Strachan has significantly contributed to sustainability initiatives, including leading a feasibility study for an insect farm. As a Director for the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, Scott Strachan advocates for sustainable beef production practices. Prior to these roles, Scott Strachan was a Senior Research Fellow at Murdoch University, where expertise in research and analysis was developed. Academically, Scott Strachan holds a PhD in Environmental Science from Murdoch University, complemented by a background in Environmental Science from Deakin University and foundational education at Aquinas College.
