Mark Beerends

Mark Beerends is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in security operations and advisory roles. Since April 2019, Mark has served as the Founder and Owner of Prusec GmbH and as a Senior Security Advisor at Skopos Lab, focusing on vulnerability detection, prediction, and mitigation. Mark has also been an event facilitator for the Security Interest Group Switzerland since October 2018. Prior to these roles, Mark held the position of Executive Director and Global Head of the Security Operations Center at UBS from October 2015 to March 2019. Mark's career began at Rabobank, where Mark managed the Security Operations Center and oversight of continuity in various technical domains from January 2008 to September 2015. Mark obtained a degree from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1990.
