Shama Acharya

Shama Acharya currently serves as the Deputy General Manager of Strategy at Lupin, focusing on portfolio management, customer acquisition, commercial strategy, and patient initiatives since July 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager for New Product Introduction and Licensing at Abbott from September 2022 to July 2023, and various positions at Cipla from December 2017 to September 2022, including Senior Manager for Portfolio & Strategy and Group Brand Manager for Respiratory. Shama's career also includes experience as Product Manager at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Assistant Product Manager at Alkem Laboratories Ltd., and Medical Business Associate at GlaxoSmithKline. Shama holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Nagpur University, an MBA in Marketing from ITM Group of Institutions, and completed a CDMM in Digital Marketing through Digital Vidya between 2018 and 2020.
