Meda Walawwe Athula Bandaranayake

Meda Walawwe Athula Bandaranayake has extensive work experience in the finance industry. From 2004 to 2010, they served as an Executive at Assetline. Meda Walawwe Athula then joined Orient Finance PLC in 2010, where they worked as the Manager of Strategic Planning and MIS until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Risk and MIS at People's Merchant Finance, starting in March 2020.

Meda Walawwe Athula Bandaranayake completed the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) degree from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia, studying from 2016 to 2018. Meda Walawwe Athula also pursued a Post Graduate degree in Business and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, studying from 2015 to 2017. In addition, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from the University of Southern Queensland, studying from 2015 to 2017. Before these achievements, in 2012 to 2013, they completed a Diploma in Credit Management from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka. Furthermore, in July 2018, Meda Walawwe Athula Bandaranayake obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia.
