Lauren R. Sorce

Lauren R. Sorce is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as President of the Society of Critical Care Medicine since January 2021, following roles as President-Elect and Treasurer within the organization. Sorce has been a key figure at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago since August 1988, where roles include Founder's Board Nurse Scientist and Critical Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, having transitioned from a clinical nurse to a Nurse Practitioner in 1997. Additionally, Sorce held the position of Vice President of Nursing at WFPICCS from June 2016 to December 2020.
