Shai Gottesdiener

Shai Gottesdiener is the current VP R&D at Lusha. Prior to Lusha, Shai was the CTO and Israel site manager at Selina from January 2017 to December 2020. Selina is a lifestyle hospitality group for a new generation of traveler that offers accommodations across a range of budgets, along with a holistic balance of work-life-well-being experiences at every destination, including Selina Cowork, wellness, farm-to-table food & beverage, music, surf clubs, tours & transportation and more. In their role at Selina, Shai built the technology division from scratch, opened and managed the R&D hub in Tel Aviv of over 50 people, opened an offshore site in the Ukraine and managed additional people around The world servicing all 100 locations, both on the operational aspects and also supporting the development of new locations which is growth engine of Selina.

Prior to Selina, Shai was the General Manager of Growmobile by Perion from January 2013 to December 2017. Perion is a global technology company that provides digital solutions for some of the world’s largest brands, including Coca-Cola, Ford, Samsung and more. In their role as General Manager of Growmobile, Shai was responsible for the overall performance of the business unit, including product development, go-to-market strategy, sales and customer success.

Before joining Perion, Shai was the VP R&D, Head of Gaming Platform, BI and Back Office at 888.com from January 2009 to December 2013. 888.com is one of the world’s leading online gaming and entertainment companies. In their role at 888.com, Shai was responsible for the company’s gaming platform, business intelligence and back office operations.

Shai began their career at Microsoft as the Regional Director for Content Management from January 2005 to December 2009. In this role, they were responsible for managing Microsoft’s content management operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Shai has a proven track record in building and leading successful teams and businesses. Shai is a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and innovation. Under their leadership, Selina’s technology division has grown into a world-class operation that supports the company’s global expansion plans.

Shai Gottesdiener has a BA in Logistics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.
